We are located in the right bank of the Vale of Ala, the Mineralogical localities known as Pian Rastel rises from the Pian della Mussa, the rocky promontory that rests on the floor it is bordered to the East by the hydrographic right Stura, on the North by Neil Roch, on the South by the Belvedere and Saulera to the West and Tovo, easily accessible from the Grange of MussaThis place is located on privately owned land, prior authorisation is forbidden to research and the collection of minerals.

After the wooden bridge in the direction of Neil Roch, follow the left fork which initially heads towards Rocca Tovo and then turn left along a grassy crestino that includes the base of the rocky promontory.

The wide area extends on the very place South of the rocky promontory where several veins of serpentine grossing rodingite in a vast area of about 1000 m2. to be seated near the Floor below Rastel.
