Valle di Viù left bank
Pian Andè-Bellacomba Grand Ciapè-Rio-Usseglio (TO)

Mineralogical deposits of the Andè Pins are located at the foot of Mount Lera, left bank of the valle di Viù, between the Pian Andè and Grand Ciapè near del rio Bellacomba.

The surrounding landscape is seat cushions from Alpine pastures and old abandoned ruins of landscapes of other times.

Are present in late spring and early autumn specimens of Chamois and marmots that very nice like sentries peer and observe everything.

The Bellacomba River flows just below in clear, Stura di Viù, near the famous trail in the opposite side of the Valley leads to the natural ponds of Falin.

The coils that emerge in this area encompass large rodingite lenses.

The minerals.

Albite in white opaque glass, apatite crystals in white opaque until transparent, chlorite, calcite , diopside en masse in green transparent crystals, epidote , centimetric crystals, green Garnet crystals of dark red color and lighter shades, translucent magnetite in octahedral crystals, massive and prehnite in opaque white blood cells, titanite in yellow crystals.

Thanks

My heartfelt thanks to Istituto Geografico Militare in Florence that has made available the cartography of the area treated.
