Valle di Viù left bank
Fubina Malpasso-Viù (TO)

This resort is located on mineralogical left bank of Valle di Viù Valley at the foot of Mount Bellacomba near the hamlet of Malpasso di Viù (Turin).

The coils of Fubina are very impaired, due to the likely action of the ancient glaciers and view the location at the bottom of the Valley, the location of rodingiti becomes difficult.

Rodingite banks located in coils are mainly vesuvianite mineral is more represented in site with colors ranging from bright green to dark brown.

There is also, chlorite, apatite in acicular crystals very brilliant and translucent zircon that is crystallized in more complex forms, Tetragonal, pyramidal, prismatic bi with adamantine light from transparent to opaque.

I believe that this location is in the entire Alpine region of Piedmont the greatest testimony of the presence of zircon in rodingiti, can be seen in various crystalline forms, shades and colors.

A few hundred meters below the hamlet of Malpasso towards provincial road is located a second mineral deposit of larger dimensions.

The rodingiti that cash the coils are on the contrary of the Malpasso exceeding granatite and are very misleading.

The predominant mineral is Garnet in situ with beautiful orange colours, you can observe the vesuvianite crystals of considerable size and diopside crystals with colours ranging from white, yellow and pale green.
