Quick note to the Mineralogical localities of the historical Ponte delle Scale (17th century), almost completely destroyed by the flood of 2000.
The bridge stairs, was easily rideable from Pian Soletti near the electricity plant of Ala di Stura (TO).
Indicatively we find ourselves under the reptile behind the Great Curbassera downstream of Ala di Stura (TO) and upstream of Chiampernotto (TO).
A small forest road (by foot) connects the Chiampernotto Pian Soletti, around the side that comes through is of mineralogical and intersesse is not to be excluded that in future can lead to new reports, several veins of rodingite in situ present including the left and the right bank of the river Stura.
THE MINERALS
Albite, chlorite, diopside, Garnet, Quartz.
Thanks
My heartfelt thanks to Istituto Geografico Militare in Florence that has made available the cartography of the area treated.
