Right Ala Valley
Rocca Tovo-Balme (TO)

We are on the right wing to Valley about an hour's walk from the famous Pian della Mussa.

Easily accessible from the Grange of Mussa and leave behind us the small core of stone houses we head to a wooden bridge that crosses the river Stura.

After crossing follow the path on the left that runs alongside a group of huts until the principle of a plan at the beginning of which we turn right up to inerpicarci in a steep and marked path which will lead us, keeping the left, until the Saulera Basin. (Keeping it right you get on top of Roch and Neil).

The last part of the trail before reaching the Saulera Basin is very exposed and you should deal with it carefully because it prevents vegetation see the vertical wall that rests on the Pian della Mussa.

Come to the Conca Saulera, we can see a source that gives rise to a waterfall that descends at dizzying speeds to Pian della Mussa, from which you can see in all its magnificence.

Beyond the source, we'll fold to the left towards Rocca Tovo that we will reach in about 30 minutes.

The small colle della Rocca Tovo where the path descends towards Balme we turn left at the peak of Tovo.

In the last section that divides the small hill from the top we can see the first rodingite veins that take place up to the top of Rocca Tovo and then continue on the precipitates of ridges overlooking the Pian della Mussa and Pian Saulera, countless rodingite benches.
