Located at the edge of the valle di Susa (TO) and just a few kilometres from Turin, Saddle Rock is visited by hikers heading at the top of the mountain where is located the small chapel of Rocca Sella or headed to the Arponetto Hill and mount Sapei.
In this short note, will not be treated the Classic locality of Saddle Rock famous for mineralogical deposits that gave beautiful samples of perowskite associated with melanite and magnetite.
The author will sign the southern slopes of the mountain, in the site called St. John, located a few hundred meters above the fountain of San Giovanni that flows near the road in the vicinity of the hamlet of Bert.
The minerals.
